Dr. Melissa Marks

Meet Dr. Melissa Marks

Dr. Melissa Marks is a fellowship-trained, double board-certified Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeon with over 15 years of surgical experience helping patients look and feel their best. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Florida before earning her medical degree from Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine, where she finished in the top 5% of her class.

Following medical school, Dr. Marks completed a demanding five-year General Surgery residency at McLaren Macomb Hospital, affiliated with Michigan State University, where she was selected to serve as Chief Surgical Resident. She then pursued a highly specialized three-year fellowship in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines, Iowa.

Dr. Marks is board-certified in both Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery and General Surgery. Her extensive training in full-body surgical care provides the strong foundation that allows her to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered treatment.

Throughout her career, Dr. Marks has remained committed to innovation, precision, and patient-focused care. Her extensive training in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery allows her to offer personalized treatment plans that align with each patient’s unique goals and natural beauty.
